What Parameters TPMD Can Measure

TPMD enables standardized measurement of:

Anterior and mid-tongue strength

Tongue endurance and fatigue resistance

Left/right symmetry of tongue force

Upper/lower lip/closure strength

Left and right cheek strength

Customized measurement protocols designed by the clinician

These parameters provide an objective physiological foundation for functional rehabilitation. All measurements are displayed on a single screen and can be stored for longitudinal follow-up.

Hygiene And Safety

TPMD probes are single-use devices intended for use on a single patient. It is strictly prohibited to clean or sterilize the probes or to reuse them. Sterilization procedures can alter the chemical composition of the probe tip and release toxic substances into the oral cavity.

Software & Data

TPMD connects to a PC or Mac via USB and operates with dedicated software for data visualization and recording.

The Software Provides :

Real-time graphical feedback during measurement

Standardized display of all parameters on one screen

Recording of measurement curves and data

These data can be saved for the patient's medical records

Specialised Training Courses On TPMD Uses

Specialised Training Courses

We will be offering TPMD users training sessions on how to use this instrument to its full potential. These sessions will be led by healthcare professionals specialising in the management of tongue dysfunction across various clinical indications, with the aim of equipping you with the knowledge and expertise needed to extract the maximum amount of information from the TPMD.

For simple assessments of tongue strength and endurance using TPMD, we offer short demonstration videos on our website showing the various measurement methods available.
